Normally SSOS says before each monthly meeting to ‘Bring a Friend – Bring Many’ but when it comes to our End of Year/Christmas dinner this became ‘Bring a Plate – Bring Many’ and undoubtedly we did.

The December meeting was celebrated with style and enthusiasm on Wednesday, 6th December, 2017 at the N.G. Wishart Hall in Moorabbin.

• The night commenced with pre-dinner drinks and nibbles, before members and their guests enjoyed a memorable feast which included roast lamb and chicken, ham, roast vegetables and potatoes, sumptuous salads, bread sticks, antipasto and stuffed eggs.
• The dessert menu included perennial favourites such as cheesecake, banana cake and chocolate goodies.

The SSOS Committee wish to thank its members for their contributions towards the dinner, presents and offerings which were incorporated into the raffle prize hampers for the night. We extend to all members and their families best wishes for a restful, enjoyable and rewarding Christmas holiday season. Look after your plants and remember that our next meeting after Christmas is:
