- Orchids under cover need to be watered from time to time
- If you don’t have any additional heat they can be allowed to dry out somewhat between watering
- For those who have some warmth, they can be kept moist
- Continue with regular applications of snail bait
- Keep an eye out for aphids on developing spikes, particularly on the early flowering natives
- For some of us, need to watch out for mice and rats
- One or two solid block baits nailed or screwed to a piece of wood seems to be the way to go
