Who Will Win?

Normally the third weekend in September is the SSOS Annual Spring Show but due to Covid-19 restrictions relating to public gatherings during Melbourne’s Stage 4 lock-down, SSOS Spring Show has gone Virtual. If you were used to seeing our flowering plants on display at the Wishart Hall you will be able to view them soon on our website.

Our members have submitted over 100 flowering orchids to be judged by OSCOV international/national accredited judges, who are judging their first virtual Spring Show in Victoria and possibly in Australia.

Plenty of awards and champion sashes are to be awarded over 18 categories, including Champion Cymbidium, Champion Paphiopedilum, Champion sashes for Novice, Intermediate and Open grower categories and Grand Champion and Reserve Champion of the Virtual Show.
